Default Bug Report on AuSable

This past week on the Main Stream, the Hennys were so thick, with some of largest egg sacs on files I have ever seen. There was also lots of dark caddis and sprinkled in green stones. The last time I saw bugs that thick was in a Hex Hatch.
Not many rising fish, but the few were great catches.
Hope you can get out a wet a line.

Smile Fly! Come back!

Hey Fly!
Sound like you know about the fly fishin'. Please stop back by and feed us with your intelligence. We need a source for everything outdoors, and I think you would be a benefit. I don't fly fish myself, but I do love the trout. I'm a worm and barbless hook kind of guy, but there are many out there just getting started, and many others who could use some timely and accurate advise.

Thank you,
