Default Higgins/Houghton

I live within 10 mins. of both lakes and with all the rain and elevated temps it'll be at least a week before anyone's back out there (except the not so bright ones on houghton) If anybody has a report of catchin anything let me know md2233

Default Reed City Lakes

Steelhead-Hunter, I retired to the Reed City area in 2003. I lived in Oakland Co. and icefished Lake St Clair every chance I got. We caught perch that normally would be in the 8-10 inches in size. I can't find a lake in this area that has nothing but dinks in it. Have you tried fishing any of the lakes in Oseola or LAKE Counties?

Smile Looking forward to 08 season!

I love to ice fish. I've eaten a lot of fresh ice over the years! The past few years I've been eating more fish than ice. I purchased some topo maps and did a lot of research. I fish mostly in N.W. Michigan. Walleye, perch, bluegill and crappie are my favorites (in that order). If anyone has any questions without mentioning specific lakes (if they are small anyway- larger ones can be named) please- just post your question and I'll do my best. I ask that you don't mention names of small lakes so we don't put too much pressure on them.
